Motif Blue provides art event sponsorships for visual arts-related activities.

APPLICATION DEADLINES: Ongoing. Applications must be received a minimum of 3 months in advance of event opportunity.
PURPOSE: Help innovative new and emerging visual artists present their work in a public forum or relevant art event.
EXAMPLES: Art event booth fees, pop-up art exhibitions, art event general sponsorships.

Application and Review Process
- Applications are reviewed regularly by the Motif Blue Board of Directors and advisors for disposition.
- Sponsorships are not guaranteed and are as funds are available.
- Applicant must be 18 or older and a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, or a representative of an organization seeking art event sponsorship support.
- Applicant must be a full-time resident of North Carolina with a permanent address in the state and have lived in North Carolina for a minimum of one year prior to application. Proof of residency is required for all accepted sponsorships.
- Applicant may apply for no more than one sponsorship per year.
- Exhibition or Event must be held at a location in North Carolina.
- Applicant must complete an online sponsorship request form.
- Motif Blue will pay sponsorships directly to the event provider.
- All decisions by the Motif Blue Board of Directors are final.
Acceptance Process
- Accepted recipient shall acknowledge and sign a Sponsorship Agreement prior to receipt of funds. Agreement must be signed within six months of acceptance or the sponsorship will not be awarded.
- For exhibitions or events, the accepted recipient shall display Motif Blue promotional brochures or postcards at their booth or show for the duration of the event with acknowledgement of Motif Blue sponsorship. Recipients may also acknowledge sponsorship via social media or website with Motif Blue offering reciprocal promotion of support to assist in marketing the event.
- Accepted recipient understands that they are receiving a Sponsorship from Motif Blue, Inc. based on the honesty of their application. If Motif Blue determines that the application is not a true representation of the applicant, the sponsorship will not be awarded.
